Tomorrow, is Thanksgiving. I haven't been home for Thanksgiving in years, so I'm looking forward to spending it with my Mom, Dad, and brother. And on the subject of holidays, my niece and nephew (whom I get the pleasure of "interacting with" on a daily basis) recently visited the Big Man. No....not the Big Man Upstairs....the Big Man Up North...SANTA!
Alright, alright....it's probably some parolee from Brockton or some old veteran who's got nothing better to do.....but he looked a lot like what one would imagine Santa looking like. And, I'm pretty sure the kids are too little to realize that we're in a crappy little mall with a Dunkin' Donuts adjacent to Santa's throne of lies (was that too much? meh).
Regardless, it was really cute to see the kids react to Santa. Apparently last year, Cooper's reaction took a turn to Negative Town when he began crying his eyes out. But this year, both Cooper and Tristan just appeared passionately indifferent towards Santa. So that progress, eh?
Thankfully, we got ONE good picture of both Cooper AND Tristan smiling. I'm sure we'll show that to them next year to convince them that they really like Santa, and he's not just a sketchy Vietnam Vet wearing galoshes.

CUTE picture, bournie! my favorite though is the one second from the bottom of the kids' faces saying, "who the crap is this dude in funky galoshes? doesn't santa know that he needs a pair of bunny boots in the north pole and a down jacket? come on, yo.."
