The goings-on

'Tis the season...to be stressed out, buying things out of your price range, and shoveling heavy amounts of snow. Fa la la. Yet, despite all the things that may make the season gloomy...I've found some things that make me very happy.

Christmas lights is the first of them. I'm not sure what it is about holiday decorations. Maybe is the nostalgia of it all, you know...reminds you of when you were little. But maybe it's just because like a turkey, I'm attracted to shiny objects.

Another thing that makes me happy is adorable children amidst adorable moments. During other moments....well...I'll just say some of their actions are suited for the Naughty List. The picture above is an adorable moment captured of Tristan. And even though we're in a lingerie store...the adorableness is undeniable.

Another thing that makes me happy is my family dominating in the career field. I mean, since I'm obviously not...I might as well be happy for those who are. My brother Matt just recently finished the LONG certification process and has begun his job as an EMT.

So, as you can imagine...I'm like a proud Momma. And, I know Matt's probably embarrassed by me posting all this about him....but he can shove it...I'm a proud older sister...and he'll get over it.

And last but not least....SNOW! Alright...alright....I DID say that I hate shoveling, but I don't really think anyone enjoys shoveling wet snow. Snow just makes me happy...don't ask why, because in all honesty...I can't tell you.

So to make the daunting task of shoveling somewhat lighter today, I strapped on the ol' sombrero and shoveled my little heart out....and I have the back pain to prove it.

But I guess this season is all about embracing the good and the bad....so in the spirit of that....Merry Christmas everyone!

Is that Victoria's Secret you are in?! I see the pink. My goodness, I miss that store!

P.S. That snow looks amazing!! How much did you Massholes get?? I could be a good wx girl and look it up, but it's more fun and less effort on my part if you tell me ;) Muah! Merry Christmas!

Haha, I thought the same, when I looked at the picture. That was totally the number of the pink collection, and I was already excited to go there. Also I was quiet happy to see the snow, because we have none. Should I take my moon boots with me? I am soo excited...
