The definition of po-dunk

On the journey to the Second Beach, we drove by Forks, Washington....which is now the famed location of the tween-sensation Twilight movies. I've developed a lot of sympathy for the people of Forks, because that town is Twilighted-out.


I'm not so sure I would take pride in the fact that my hometown is the location of one of the most ridiculous teen obsessions since Pokemon...but I guess they're milking it.


Apparently, all you need to make a city is 3,000 people and a hit-teen movie.


Needless to say, the trip didn't last long in Forks....not only because it takes 2 minutes to drive through the downtown area...and but also because we didn't want to get eaten by a vampire.


I had a great time on the Peninsula...and I'm excited to come back and camp a little....hopefully with better weather, but I won't hold my breath.
